Services Provided

The Tucson Lutheran Thrift Store works in collaboration with many area social service agencies, including:

  • Lutheran Social Ministries of the Southwest
  • Grace St. Paul Episcopal Church
  • Pima County Nurses
  • Pima County Family Services
  • Tucson Operation Deep Freeze
  • American Red Cross

Since the store opened in 2002, the Tucson Lutheran Thrift Store has given out over a 100,000 items of clothing through the agencies listed above. In addition, the thrift store provides support for the following ministry efforts:

  • Clothing and luggage for children placed in foster care with Pima County Family Services
  • Clothing for area homeless people to assist them with a proper wardrobe for seeking and securing employment
  • Clothing and household items needed by families impacted through fire loss
  • Clothing for low-income pregnant women served by the Pima County Nurses

All clothing that is not sold is donated to Tucson-area homeless shelters. All people in need who request assistance are helped at the store or directed to the appropriate Tucson area social service agency. We are here to serve! Our mission is to serve Christ by serving people.
